The St. Ansgar girls brought out the big bats early and often in Monday’s home tilt against Northwood-Kensett, driving home in 9 runs in the first two innings. 

The Vikings looked like they were having an off night, and the Saints took advantage by racking up 10 hits in their 12-1 victory. 

The Anderson sisters lead the way offensively for the Saints, combining for 5 hits and 3 RBIs between Jadyn and Hali.

Lily Walk tallied 9 strikeouts in the game, and helped improve the Saints’ record to 5-4. 

Next, the Saints will play a make-up game at North Butler Tuesday.
